Went to see Alice for the 4th time. First time was around 1971 or so in Houston..if I remember right Canned Heat was there to open. 2nd time was in '73 at the Sam Houston Colliseum(sic). Billion Dollar Babies tour and what a show it was. Alice has a dvd out that has the show done here and in Dallas. I bought it hoping I would see myself but I only saw people that looked like I did then. After that I stayed sober and managed not to see Alice again for over 20 years until '96 when he opened for the Scorpians at the Woodlands...we left after Alice was done..that was my daughters first concert, she was 7. And now once again here I am to watch Alice once more and he doesn't mind. It was vintage Alice Cooper, it reminded me of the very first time I saw him with all the theatrics that were a part of the show. He still performs with the energy and intensity I remember and he surrounds himself with young, talented musicians that just add to the mix. Glen Buxton would be proud, may he rest in peace.
